Let’s Torque is an inter-university public speaking competition where you'll have the chance to present on a ground-breaking STEM concept, and explain how it could benefit Australia. There will be preparation workshops to help you develop your presentation and practice public speaking. There are also some awesome prizes! Registrations will close August 7th, so check out www.letstorque.org to learn more and apply!

By early August, you will submit written ‘Talking Points’, detailing your STEM solution. Let’s Torque will deliver content to help you develop your Talking Points into a 4-minute presentation. In the Semi-Finals, you will present your STEM idea in early September.  Our Grand Final is in October. They are typically held at the Royal Society of Victoria. Grand Finalists will then deliver their presentation again to a panel of leading science communications who will ask questions and award prizes!
